Adult Dating | Was Kaelynne Paez Abducted?

Thirteen-year-old Kaelynne Paez hasn’t been seen since 9/9/2012 — near Heber Avenue in Imperial County, Southern California. Her family has been out of contact with her, which naturally has them in a state of worry due to her young age. She is just now a teenager in a region just north of the Mexican border where anything could be happening to her. The FBI just joined the search for the missing teen, and have expressed the belief that she could have met someone online.

It’s not uncommon for young girls to fall victim to online predators, though there are also genuine romances that occur as well with young girls and guys they meet online. The FBI hasn’t gone into too much details about this girl’s online life, but it appears that she was purposely lying about her age on several adult dating websites. Yes, several.

She claims to be a 19-year-old single woman who loves to box, play basketball and hang out. On her profiles, she’s interested in meeting men who are between 18 years old and 25 years old. There are obviously some emotional issues for this little girl to be purposely putting herself out there as an adult woman looking for men who are double her age.

While the FBI believes she could have been targeted and abducted by a sex predator who uses the internet to hunt, there is another possibility. Maybe she is inadvertently the predator, meaning she could have met some guy out there who actually believes she’s a 19-year-old woman. If she’s lying about her age online to find men, she’ll probably lie about her age until she’s caught up in her lies.

Wait and see. Hopefully Kaelynne Paez returns home after playing a guy or two with her fake age ploy. On the other hand, if this young teen has fallen in with a sex predator the search for her could be fruitless since she was located so close to Mexico. Human trafficking, drug mule slavery and the sort are growing problems, and there isn’t much the U.S. government or law enforcement can do about it. Hopefully this girl hasn’t fallen victim to any of these horrible things.
