ISSUE OF EQUITY

Personal Assets Trust plc (the “Company”) announces that it has allotted and issued, conditional only on admission to listing on the UKLA’s Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: LSE.L – news ) , a further 1,459 Ordinary shares of 12.50 each at a price of 341.70 per share. It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to listing and to trading at 8.00 a.m. on 28 March 2012. Following this issue, the Company will have 1,353,920 Ordinary shares in issue.
